Biography
LaDarius earned his bachelor's degree in History with a minor in Sociology from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2017. After taking a year off from school, he returned to UTA to earn his M.A. in sociology. As a graduate student, he further developed his sociological understanding and applied this knowledge to his lifelong fascination with religion. In 2021 he completed his M.A. thesis examining the links between race, religion, and gun ownership in the United States.
As a first-year student at Baylor, he is looking forward to continuing his research, further developing his quantitative analysis abilities, and gaining the experience that will allow him to teach sociology in the university setting.
