Graduate Program Admissions

Requirements

For admission to the Doctoral Program in Sociology, the department requires:

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Three (3) letters of recommendation
• Statement of purpose, including academic/research area of interest
• Resume or Curriculum Vita
• Writing sample (your best and most recent academic writing)
• Transcript(s) from all institutions of higher learning the applicant has attended
• Completed Application through the Graduate School

For international students, we also require an English Proficiency Examination, in alignment to the Baylor Graduate School's score minimums. 

Application Deadline

Applications are due on January 15 and are for fall admittance only.
