Biography
Tristen is a third-year student in the Sociology PhD program. She earned her undergraduate degree from Hope College in 2018. At Hope, she studied Sociology and Spanish. During her undergraduate career, Tristen gained an interest in the Sociology of health and the sociology of religion. These interests brought her to Baylor.
While at Baylor, Tristen hopes to research the overlap between the sociology of religion and health particularly in the area of mission work and child development.
